Dr. Alba Reyes, M.D. is the expert pioneer of hair restoration surgery in the Dominican Republic in both Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT) and Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) methods.

Dr. Reyes became the first surgeon in Latin America to have been certified as a Diplomat by the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ABHRS). She is among the first surgeons in all of Latin America to have been appointed Fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (FISHRS). Today she is also a proud and active member of the IAHRS, the only society ever to be recognized by Consumer Reports.

After graduating from her medical studies at the top of her graduating class, Dr. Reyes completed her residency in dermatology, and was later promoted to Head Resident at the “Instituto de Dermatologia y Cirugia de la Piel – Dr. Huberto Bogaert Diaz”. In that capacity, she was awarded the title of ‘Outstanding Resident’. Later on, her excellency in dermatological surgery was recognized by the International Society of Dermatologic Surgery, awarding her the Perry Robbins Scholarship.
